Ideation first. Always.
Great design does not begin with fabric or a sketch. It begins with a mood board, a conversation, a feeling. We spend as much time understanding you as we do designing for you.
Our Philosophy
Featured Work
Two weddings. Each a complete universe of design, from the outfits worn to the tables set, the cultures honoured, the atmospheres created. This is what it means to design a whole experience.
Apparel Direction
Custom-designed outfits rooted in cultural authenticity, tailored to fit perfectly for the most significant day.
Creative Direction
Rich cultural tones translated into a cohesive visual identity that ran from the outfits through every element of the day.
Event Co-Design
Motifs woven into the fabric and echoed in the décor, with the tables designed to carry the same colour story the outfits set.
The traditional wedding was not just an event; it was a full creative brief. Every detail was considered: the colour story that ran from our outfits to the floral arrangements, the cultural motifs woven into the fabric and reflected in the décor, the tables set to carry the same palette. The traditional touches that honoured our heritage while feeling fresh, alive, and unmistakably ours. All of it designed. All of it intentional. All of it telling one story.
Apparel Design
A custom bridal gown and groom attire designed for clean lines and quiet luxury, fitted precisely, finished with intention.
Creative Direction
One cohesive visual language of palette, type, and mood, carried across every touchpoint of the day.
Event Co-Planning
Floor plans, guest flow and atmosphere planned together, down to the perfume bar and the coffee bar, so the day moved exactly as designed.
The white wedding was a study in restraint and intention. Where the traditional celebration was rich with cultural texture, this day called for a different language, one of clean lines, considered luxury, and quiet detail. The mood board set the tone months before the day arrived. Every vendor, every floral choice, every place setting was filtered through the same visual lens. The result was a day that felt completely, unmistakably whole, and wholly ours.
Pre-wedding shoots are not just photographs; they are designed experiences. Every outfit, every location, every frame is part of a larger visual narrative that sets the tone for the celebration to come. We arrive knowing exactly what we want to capture and why.
And the people around it
An outfit is one part of a day. The rest is the people who capture it and run it, and they are not the same people every time. The team is assembled for what your event actually needs, and the work of finding them, pricing them and keeping them to schedule sits with us.
The team
Videographers, photographers, content creators, stylists, decorators. Sourced, briefed and coordinated around your event rather than drawn from a fixed roster.
The money
Quotes gathered, pricing negotiated, and one budget kept, so you are not chasing six vendors for six numbers.
The running of it
Timelines, deliverables, and the day itself, project-managed. The work of finding good people and holding them to a schedule is ours, not yours.
Work With Us
This is a consultancy. Whether it is your wedding, an event you are attending, or apparel you have been imagining, we are your creative partner from first conversation to final look. We can be present at every stage, including the day itself.
Beyond the events
Not every commission is a wedding. A look for a runway, a single suit, a jacket, a shirt for an ordinary week, a whole party dressed to match. We take it from the first sketch through the fabric and the fittings to the finished piece. There is more we make than a page can hold, so tell us what you have in mind and we will help you get there.
In the making
Panels under the needle, and the pattern worked out before a metre is cut.
Designed in 3D
Developed digitally in custom prints: colourways resolved on screen before cutting.
Native, cut clean
Two-piece natives with the embroidery drawn to the body, not bought by the yard.
The suit
Different styles, different tastes. Built around what is already in your wardrobe and what you actually reach for.
Worn on a Tuesday
Business casual. A two-piece set for an ordinary work day, cut with the same eye as everything else.
The purple wedding
Lavender for the groomsmen, purple for the couple; one party dressed across a day.
The three piece
Agbada, machine-embroidered. The white one was worn on the runway at African Fashion Week Seattle.
Jackets and blazers
Tailored outerwear over print: the piece that carries an outfit in either direction.
How We Work
We begin with you. Your story, your vision, your moment. Deep listening before any design decisions are made.
Mood boards, colour palettes, reference imagery. We build the visual world of your piece before a stitch is made.
Sketches evolve into patterns. Every proportion and detail decided with purpose and with your story in mind.
The making process, with communication throughout. Fittings, adjustments, refinements, until it is exactly right.
You wear it, you live in it, you remember it. The piece becomes part of the story, and the story becomes part of you.
